To Compare Product Offerings in the GSS Catalog
When the same product is available from more than one Contract Holder, you can compare offerings from different Contract Holders to view the differences between them. You can compare up to three items to one another at a time.
When you add an item to the comparison list, it stays until you remove it. You can use this to compare different product offerings to one another. That is, you can compare the same product from different vendors. You can also compare different products from different vendors. This means that you can, for example, compare different laptop configurations to one another to find the best one for your needs.
Tip
To compare more than three items, you can remove items from the comparison, replace them with new items, and compare again to find the best offering for your needs.
In the GSS Catalog, locate an item that you want to order in the GSS Products page, then click View Offering(s) for the item.
In the Product Offerings page, select the Compare checkbox for up to three items.
Tip
You can clear a single item's checkbox to remove it from the comparison or click Clear All in the top right of the window to remove all the items.
In the top right, click View Comparison.
In the Comparison window, review the differences between the offerings. You can click Remove from Comparison to remove an item.
Click outside the Comparison window to close it.
