Announcements
Announcements are messages about the e‑GOS system.
Announcements can be one of the following types:
Type | Notes | Appearance |
|---|---|---|
Urgent Alert | Appears as a pop-up immediately. Also appears as a top banner. Generally used for urgent announcements. |   |
Alert | Appears as an alert pop-up when you log in to e‑GOS. Also appears as a top banner. |   |
Banner | Appears at the top of every e‑GOS page. |  |
Tip
To stop the alert pop-up from showing again, do the following:
Select the checkbox
to stop this alert from showing again.Click Confirm.
All announcements, both current and historical, can be viewed on the Announcements dashboard. Click Announcements in the Left Rail to view the dashboard.
To View Announcements

All announcements, both current and historical, can be viewed on the Announcements dashboard.
In the Left Rail click Announcements. Current Announcements appear in the list.
Click Historical Announcements to view all historical announcements.
