To Send a Product Summary from your GSS Cart to a Contracting Officer
To finalize a purchase from GSS, you must be a Warranted Contracting Officer or an Authorized Purchase Card Holder. If you are not, in the checkout process, you can email a product summary document and a message to an authorized person who can complete the order for you.
In the GSS Cart Checkout page, on the Authorization page, in the Are you a Warranted Contracting Officer, or an Authorized Purchase Card Holder, and able to finalize this order section, select No, then click Continue.
In the Email Product Summary page, enter the name and email address of a recipient who is an authorized purchasing official. You should also enter a message for the official with any needed information about the request.
Click Send.
The e‑GOS system sends the email to the recipient you specified. The recipient's procedures for handling requests of this type can vary. Consult your departmental policies for any needed information.
