To Edit a Product in GSS

  1. In the GSS Product page, locate the product that you want to delete, then click View Product for the product.

  2. In the top right of the Product Details page, in the Details menu (Screenshot of the details menu as it appears in the GSS pages. The menu is three circles stacked vertically, one on top of another. The circles are white, on a medium-blue background.), click Edit Product.

  3. Make any needed changes to the product information, then click Validate Product.

    Tip

    Items with a red asterisk (*) are required. The required fields and the additional information can vary, depending on the GSS version and the item type.

    In the Add Ons page, you can click the Trash icon (TrashCan.PNG) to delete an add on that is no longer needed.

  4. If no errors were found, you can approve the product. In the pop-up, click Proceed.

  5. Review the product information. Make sure that you review the information on the following tabs:

    • Add Ons

    • Additional Specs

    • Point of Contact

  6. Do one of the following:

    • If the product meets NITAAC requirements, click Approve. In the Product Approval pop-up, enter the reason for approval and a message. If needed, attach one or more files, then click Approve.

    • If the product does not meet NITAAC requirements, click Reject.

  7. In the Product Approval or Product Rejection pop-up, enter the following, then click Approve or Reject as appropriate:

    • A reason for the action

    • A message for the Review Log

    • Optionally attach one or more files to explain the action
