To Manually Add a Product in GSS

When you add a product in GSS, it may be sent to NITAAC for review if one or more of the following are true:

  • The combination of the OEM Part Number and Manufacturer name is new.

  • The product price is 10% or more higher than similar products already in the GSS catalog.

If a product is sent for review, it appears on the Products page with the status Review.

  1. In the GSS Product page, click Add Product.

  2. In the Select GSS Version window, click the correct GSS version for the product.

    Note

    You can only add products to GSS versions that you are authorized to sell for. If you select an invalid GSS version, an error message appears.

  3. In the Add Products window, click Continue To Form.

  4. In the Product page, enter the information for your product. You must complete the general information. In addition, you must complete the tabs at the bottom.

    Tip

    Items with a red asterisk (*) are required. The required fields and the additional information can vary, depending on the GSS version and the item type.

  5. Click Submit Products.

    The e‑GOS system validates your entry. If the system finds an error, you can make changes, then submit it again.
